Important tool for Christian educators May 18, 2009

As a Christian home schooler, I have found this to be an invaluable resource. In my preparations for educating my children, I've had to overcome a sense of moral ambiguity regarding philosophies and events of history which had been left to me by my humanist public school education.
That which is generally held by modern authors to be noteworthy and noble is here more fully explored and exposed to the light of precepts found in Scripture. Beginning with Ancient Egyptian history and ending with the Protestant Reformation, historical errors are dissected and diagnosed, and the antidote is given. For this reason, this book has long been my constant companion as I've made lesson preparations.
As a result, my family and I are gaining wisdom from our past and becoming better prepared to interact with events and policy of today. For the analytical Christian mind, I can't recommend this book set highly enough.

The brilliant lectures of RS Rushdoony on an overview of the history of the world.
Seeing the progress of the Gospel, with fair and balanced treatment of the influence of the disapora, Monks, various monarchs, and the motive behind exploration of the new world, Rushdoony skillfully takes aparts the myths so commonly repeated (I can't even say 'taught") in the government schools.
The ONLY problem with this set is that is ends....
A fantastic resource to learn world history September 11, 2009

I have been tremendously blessed by the teaching of R.J. Rushdoony. This 12-part lecture series tells God's story through providence, and not from a humanistic prospective. I have learned so much that I didn't learn in my public school history education from Rushdoony's talks. I highly recommend this teaching to anyone who wants to learn more about world history.
